This is one of the most stunning books that I have read to my daughter. It's a beautiful story that has a lovely moral. I've already bought two and will be buying more as it's such a special book. It's amazing to have a beautiful story using one of the most unique animals. This will be a firm favourite of ours for years to come.

The rhyming is well paced and has predictive elements that my kids love to join in with. As a teacher, I will definitely be taking a copy into my school in September to share in PSHE. This is a gorgeous book. The text tells the story of each individual’s unique qualities and how we can find commonalities despite differences. The illustrations are really beautiful with watercolour drawings which evoke emotions and will be attractive to children and adults alike. This book would also be a great resource for primary school PSHE lessons. Truly lovely!

The delightful rhyme scheme had my four-year old hooked, along with the beautiful illustrations. Such a gorgeous book about hope, acceptance and friendship. We learnt a lot about different animals too, and I thought it was really fantastic to spot what was the same and what was different about each animal, compared to Patty the platypus.
